September
23, 2010 >>> opening meeting featured Steve Fier
of IBM.
Updates
on POWER7 Low-end Announcement & Upgrades for 8XX, 520 and 550..
3-year warranty....were included. Attendance was high as we dined at the
Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome’s "The Gallery Grill"
Restaurant.
October
21, 2010 >>> Our October meeting featured
Chris Burns, Sr. of GEMKO presenting "Innuendo - The Art of the Sexy
Database",
a new concept in database design".
Opening up new possibilities
with an entirely new concept in database design ‐ not only for
System i but other platforms as well.
Also, a well attended
meeting
as we experienced the all new banquet facility at the new Hamburg Casino

08, 2010 >>> We concluded the 2010 portion of our
season on Wednesday, December 8th for our holiday gala at the famed
"Anchor Bar".... featuring their famous wings, as well as pizza
& antipasto

24, 2011 >>> Our February meeting featured
Joe Guleno of IBM presenting "IBM Storage Solutions", some new concept in
storage, as well as updates & enhancements to existing storage
solutions
Also, a well attended meeting
as we revisited the all new banquet facility at the new Hamburg Casino

Joe Guleno of IBM; This time presenting "Cloud Computing", the
latest concept in computing & the wave of
the future.
Once again, we all enjoyed the topic & the fine meal
at "The Dome"

28, 2011 >>> Our April meeting once again featured
Stephen Fier of IBM; This time presenting Power
Announcement Updates.
Prior to
the presentation, we got to see some fascinating photos of his trip to
Africa, as we dined at Tony Rome's Restaurant.

07, 2011 >>> Our End-of-Year Group Event was
aboard the famous
Miss
Buffalo for a relaxing 2 hour tour on the Niagara.
