ATTENTION  MUGWNY  MEMBERS

~~SPECIAL NOTICE (Updated 3/24)~~

Hi MUG Members,

After much thought and discussion by your board of directors, we have decided to postpone our March 24th event until Tuesday April 14th.  This is due to the ongoing and fluid coronavirus situation.    We have a responsibility to our fellow members and our presenters to avoid unnecessary risk.

We will continue to monitor the health situation going on in WNY specifically.  Our current plans for the rest of the season are as follows...

April 14, 2020 Event:

Our plans remain, to hold this event on the new date of Tuesday April 14th (see details below).  If we are unable to meet for any reason, we will consider making this a video conference event.  Worst case scenario we will push this back further.  However, we are really trying to avoid that.

April 30, 2020 Event:

As of right now, this event will go on as scheduled.  However, since this event will require travel by our presenter, we are in discussion now about possibly pushing this event into May.  If we are unable to secure travel for whatever reason, we may consider a video conference event.

End of year event:

We are still planning a June End of Year event.   We are hoping for warm weather for an outdoor event like last year.

Okay, now back to business.

Reminder: Continuing with our last few seasons "COMMON Coming to Us" theme, this event is going to be Chris Burns discussing Technical Debt.  Chris will be doing the same presentation at this year's COMMON.  We are lucky to have this topic at one of our events.  This presentation will not only be beneficial for the technical folks out there but is also a great opportunity for others at your company.   Please plan to join us at JP Fitzgeralds on April 14th.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call any board member.

Thank you,

MUG Board of Directors
